Job Duties & Responsibilities
- The Fiber Optic Splicer will handle the splicing, installation, and maintenance of fibre optic cables:
- Perform fibre splicing and termination work,
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of fibre optic systems,
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency with splicing tools and testing equipment.
- Proficiency in English language (speaking, reading, writing)
Qualifications
- Diploma in Telecommunications or related field,
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fibre splicing.
Additional Qualifications
- Any additional relevant qualification for this position would be considered as a plus.
- Position open for local residents in Uganda
