Job Duties & Responsibilities
- PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To provide overall Administrative Support to the Human Resources Department. The HR Assistant will be supporting management of HR related affairs and administrative functions within the organization.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
- Compliance with All EHS Rules and regulations of the organization.
- Demonstrate a high level of trust, discretion and confidentiality.
- Recruitment: receive applications and properly handle them for onward processing, communicate to shortlisted candidates on time.
- Develop job descriptions for review by the Human Resource Manager.
- Assist to Conduct general induction of company HR policies.
- Management and Control of Staff Attendance.
- Management and control of staff leave.
- Preparation of employee contracts, confirmation, timely renewal and filing of contracts.
- Assist in ensuring that clear job descriptions of all the staff are in place and up to date.
- Conduct periodical update of personnel files.
- Assist to Coordinate and conduct Company’s ESG Scheme
- Assist to Coordinate Training Plans and requirements
- Assist in preparation and submission of payroll to Finance Department
- Assist in managing handover and sign off to all company's Tools
- Assist in sourcing rentals for GMT houses.
- Assist in group reporting as required.
- Handling of Staff grievances
- Perform requisition as per project requirement.
- Reconcile expenditures
- Conduct Employee survey
- Miscellaneous: Any other duties as assigned by Superior.

- Respect the rules defined within the framework of the Environmental Management System,
- Report any identified environmental non-compliance,
- Inform of any modification that could modify the impacts and / or the texts.
Initial Training and Experiences required
- Honesty, integrity, trustworthy and reliability.
- Knowledge of the Tanzania labor laws.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and written.
- Good knowledge in use of HRMIS
- Familiarity with Microsoft office suite
- Competency with internet and email

- Good time management skills
Qualifications required
- A degree Holder in a relevant area
- A significant experience in a position of HR collaborator in a multicultural environment.
